Dreams Blossom Mission Trip to Egypt
St.Barsoum El-Erian Monastery
In
June 2009, Theresa Ateya, the founder of Dreams Blossom, flew
to Egypt with a dream to plant the first seeds of
hope for those who have special needs in Egypt.
Dreams Blossom donated and provided help to places that needed medical,
food and educational assistance. The donation went to St.Barsoum El-Erian
Monastery. There, they provide aid to people who are blind, in terms of
tutoring in Brallie, medical services and day care. They also aid people who
are mentally challenged. Another donation went to Prince Theodore’s
Convent for Nuns, Harret- El -Rum, El-Ghouria, and Virgin Mary's Church,
El-Ghouria, Cairo. Donations will continue to be sent over there and
to other places who aid those who have special needs.
They have no way of going to school, college, and of course, the possibility of having a job is very rare.
Charity institutions are the only hope to provide assistance to those with special needs. Government offices can’t provide the funds needed. That is why Dreams Blossom intends to provide some assistance there. Dreams Blossom wants to help those with special needs, not only through donations, but by making them feel loved, and letting them know that someone truly cares about them and loves them. With support and love, we can change people's lives and make the world a better place.
Blessings from his H.H.Pope Shounda lll to the founder of Dreams Blossom
